Okay, so I love this card I made for my friend Dave, who's also turning 30 this week using the Mojo Monday sketch...I used my brand new twinkling H20s (so bright!) to colour the frog from SU's 'Unfrogettable'. I layered on my new printed paper and Old Olive and Chocolate Chip. The sign is clear embossed chocolate chip on a toothpick! I couldn't resist using my new Stickles on the scalloped border, even though it's a male card, I held myself back though, used just a touch. I love the buttons. I think I have to get better at the photo taking as this card looks sooooooo much better in real life!

Well, I turned the big 3-0 today...hard to believe, I certainly don't feel like the age I once perceived as "old", lol. I had a big party on Saturday night, slept on and off Sunday (hehe I like to say I had naps between my naps) and today spent much of it making Thank You's for my wonderful friends and family!

Some are a bit different as I ran out of my original "Mellow Moss" ribbon and moved to "Certainly Celery" until I ran out of that and resorted to "Apricot Appeal". I think I need to place a new order as I am running low on my favorite papers as well! I used my newly purchased "In the Spotlight" SU set and Cameo Coral (I still love this colour), Apricot Appeal, Mellow Moss, and Brocade Blue for the colours on Whisper White, layered onto Cameo Coral and then onto Apricot Appeal. I accented with little Chocolate Chip hearts. The little tags are Mellow Moss with a clear embossed Chocolate Chip 'thank you'.

Okay, here it the third WUAC Wednesday card for Sandy and I also followed the sketch of Mojo Monday Week 74.

Valentine's Day Treats

Yesterday was a big crafting day for me!! In addition to my card for the HH challenge, I made these Valentine's Day treat bags for some of my family. I learned this at my last card night with Sandy. I don't have any Valentine's day stamps so I used 'Enjoy' from SU Lovely Labels and my So Swirly Roller. Both were embossed with clear powder.

I know this pic isn't very clear, but it just shows my collection of treats!

High Hopes Guest Designer Challenge

This was the beginning of the watercolouring of the original image.











This is the final watercolouring of the original image. I stamped the image on watercolour paper and used a blender pen and aquapainter with my SU inks.














Then, I cut out images from a second stamped image and layered them on the original image with dimensionals.

I then layered the water colour paper onto some Kiwi Kiss and again onto Very Vanilla. My accent colour is Tangerine Tango. This is my submission for the HH challenge for a chance to be a guest designer!!
