Color Throwdown 35!!!

The Color Throwdown was to use Purely Pomegranate, Tangerine Tango, and Kiwi Kiss. I used my new Geisha Anya on watercolour paper and coloured her with the inks and aquapainter. I then accented with some twinkling H20s. Her hair is Crystal Effect'd and her flower has some Stickles Ice. I used a sheer green ribbon and purely pomegranate ink for the sentiment. Enjoy!

MOJO79

This is my card for MOJO79. I used Basic Grey's 'Porcelain' Collection DP and button. I think it's pretty cute!

WUAC No. 6

It's been awhile since I've posted, I've been under the weather. This card is for Sandy's WUAC challenge this week. I chose the part of her challenge to be a card inspired by circles. I used my new (but retired) SU "The Best Yet" and watercoloured some flowers from SU "Heartfelt Thanks". I layered some dp from costco onto SU Old Olive and chose my accent colours to be Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red. Some of the flowers have been accented by Twinkling H20s using the aquapainter. I needed to add a little bling, so I used my stickles and a coulple of coloured rhinestones. Hope you like it!

Here is my card for Color Throwdown and Mojo Monday. The Color ThrowDown challenge was to use Tempting Turquoise, Elegant Eggplant, and a green of your choice. The layout is the Mojo Monday sketch. I didn't have a green flower that quite matched, so I sponged over some ink to make it a bit darker. I (of course) used Crystal Stickles on the scallop circle :) Enjoy!

Here it is, WUAC #5, using Sandy's instructions to follow SFYTT and TCPTUES49. I tried to step outside the box with the colours and to try to use my chunky sprinkles again, which I again realize I don't really like. But, overall, the card is cute. I used SU 'In The Spotlight', my trusty stickles (I don't know how I ever got on without them), and this awesome iridescent cord on the bottom. I also tried to improve my sponging with the blue around the edges. Please leave a comment and let me know you dropped in!

My friend Ada finally had her baby boy last week. I made this cute onesie for him, one of the first cards I learned how to make...Enjoy!

When I got home last night, I uploaded my previous card pictures and wasn't very happy with the way they turned out...I couldn't re-take the pictures because I had already given the card away. The only solution was to do another card using these colours. This is what I came up with today. The flowers have some Crystal Effects on them and the butterfly was stamped in Pretty In Pink on acetate and then carefully clear embossed. You can tell it's pink only if you look very carefully. What do you think?

These are today's projects. I made the card using kwernerdesign colour inspiration for my aunt's birthday and then I made this little bag using my Cricut. The bag was so cute, but just a touch too small to hold her gift.

This is the card I made for my sister's birthday today....she's not really the 'cutesy' type, therefore, no soft coloured images. I used my Cricut expression and my brand new Martha Steward border punch. I like the bling so I added lots of that too! This will also be my WUAC card, though you might never tell....the only thing I used the same as Sandy is flowers! Carling always says 'homefry' so on the inside, it says 'homefry' in the same type of lettering as the 'happy birthday'. Enjoy!

Here's the weekly challenge for Mojo Monday. Overall, I think this card is alright, but I am disappointed in my sentiment. This is why I rarely stamp directly onto a card!!! Even using the stamp-a-ma-jig, I still managed to get an uneven result....so upsetting when it's the last thing you do...
